OTD Calculator sells the same fee book the public calculators use: state sales-tax treatment, title, registration, plates, lien, and doc-fee rules, each with a verified date when the source was checked. Start with a 14-day free trial, then $29/mo.

What a dealership uses this for

A desk manager can print a customer worksheet that separates government fees from the doc fee and F&I products. A website manager can place the same calculator on inventory pages. A lender or publisher can call the API instead of maintaining fifty state spreadsheets. The numbers do not change between those surfaces.

Questions

Does the trial include county rates?

The trial includes the state list and each state’s normalized breakdown. County rows and the changes feed are on paid plans, because those responses are larger and updated as a product.

Can a free embed remove the OTD Calculator link?

No. The link stays on free embeds. A valid paid embed key on an allowed domain can replace it with a short “Powered by” footnote and show the dealership’s name.

Are the figures tax advice?

No. Every response and every calculator says the figures are estimates from official sources and should be confirmed with the DMV before anyone signs.
